Hi I have 2005 2500 HD with 8.1 I wanted to change the Lower Rad Hose I got a Delco and when I put it on the rad neck I had to Tap it on I lined up the locating tab on the rad neck with the slot on the rad hose I bottomed it out but the spring clip wont seat. I try this several times I put on the old hose and the clip seated no problem . I got a GM hose same problem the clip won't seat . Any Thoughts I am a Tech with 49 yrs in the trade.
