91 chevy step side engine swap
 

Hey guys new to this forum..

And new to the chevy world..

But I have a few questions about a chevy engine swap..
Currently I have a 91 chevy half ton step side 4x4 with a rebuilt 700 R4 transmission and a 95 LT1 out of a caprice. But when I open the hood of my truck I look down and just see wires.

Now I have a 72 350 4 bolt main sitting in my shop just waiting to be rebuilt and im wondering if there is anything I should know before i just start digging in? Will the tranny bolt up? Are the motor mounts the same? Anything else I might have to change?

Tranny and motor mounts should bolt up with no problems. Switchin from a tbi motor to a carb motor is easy. Chevys are very universal and most parts will interchange.
