Default Experiences with Diesel Performance Upgrades?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering getting a diesel performance upgrade for my ute and trying to figure out what’s worth it. Some shops offer ECU remapping, increased torque for towing, better fuel economy, and adjustments to emissions components like DPF and EGR.

I’m curious how noticeable the improvements are in everyday driving, including acceleration, towing, and long trips. I’ve been looking into getting a proper Diesel Tune and wonder about the real-world results. Also, are there any hidden downsides like engine wear, warranty issues, or software glitches?

If you’ve had diesel tuning done before, I’d love to hear about your experience, what worked well, and what you’d avoid. Appreciate the insights!
