Default Ford F150 2016 Limited replacement

Hello everyone

I’m looking to replace my truck with another one which comes with maximum possible off road upgrades. Currently I’ve got 35 tyres on mine with skid plates and 2 inch spacers. I’ve been planning to modify to get an exhaust and lift kit as well however considering mine is 3.5l EcoBoost no one recommends to add an exhaust unless I go for muffler or resonator delete. To keep it simple I’m trying to replace instead of adding more as it’s getting older.

Apologies for the long story but just wanted to give some background to what I need some advice on. Now looking at options within Ford I either pay significantly higher price for Raptor where I don’t do that level of off-roading or go with Ranger Raptor but it has significantly smaller cabin size and this is my daily use vehicle too so not enough for family. Only option with reasonable price and off road trim I’ve found is Chevy Silverado ZR2. I like the look, features and drive of the same however I’m not sure if it’s the right move to go from the current Ford one to that. Plus it comes with active exhaust as well.

I don’t know if this is the right forum for this discussion however people here have helped me out many times in the past and thought to swing this idea past all of you to see what you think.

Hoping for some good advice here. Just for reference I’m based in UAE.

Cheers

There are two ways to find out what engine is in your 2008 F-150:

Check the VIN sticker: The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) sticker is located on the driver's side doorjamb. The eighth digit of the VIN will tell you the engine size. For a 4.6L engine, the eighth digit will be a ""W"".

Look in your owner's manual: Your owner's manual will have all the specifications of your truck, including the engine size.

Both methods are quick and easy, and you should be able to find the information you're looking for in just a few minutes.
