I was wondering how much rust is TYPICAL on the undercarriage? I know this will vary by location but I'm curious to know how my truck to compares to others in a similar region. I live in Pennsylvania and have a 2012 Sierra 1500 with 32,000 miles. Below are some pictures of the rust. Is this normal for the age/mileage of my truck?? and should I be concerned? I just feel like it's excessive give the age. Thanks in advance!

 

It's a never ending battle that makes me sick to my stomach. I'm sorry I missed this post before.

Mine is a 2013 and has only seen one winter and was washed with an underbody rinse at least once a week or every time it got covered in salt. I got down under it the other day and almost vomited. The rubberized coating on my frame is even chipping off.

but in the end, all you can do is slow it down
