What type of truck am I looking for?

HEY Guys - So this is my first post on this forum, hopefully I get a good response. :p

Anyways to get to it- I was wondering what type of truck should I be buying? I want a 04-06 model, that looks badass when lifted about 6" and possibly 35" tires/rims.

Any suggestions? I been looking at f-150, they look quite nice for the year. btw- my budget is under 10,000. I do plan to pull a trailer with it, so it does need to be an actual truck haha. Extended cab is preferred.

OH! and while I'm at it, what audio systems are really dope for the price and good for trucks?

Thanks for all your help! :D

Hmmmm...

That's a large lift, so I think I would stay away from a General Motors vehicle. I don't know a ton about lifts, but I would assume that your budget won't allow you to put a solid front axle into a truck with IFS. The Ford's and Dodges look pretty sweet, I think I would look for a Cummins if you could find one, but I think youll be stretching the range a bit.

Hopefully someone with a bit more experience on customized trucks can chime in. I know MenaceRX has some experience with audio?

00-06 is the best generation truck gm has ever made. mine has 355kilometers and still on original trans and engine.

If you go ford, stay away from triton engines that use that deep small spark plug...pre 07 or 08 models. goggle it. if your ok spending a grand to get the broken plugs out of the head...go for it.

I had a 05 ram 1500 with a hemi. best gasser engine made imo
