97 GMC Sierra door latch replacement

I'm trying to find the easiest way to replace a door latch on my 97 GMC Sierra. I managed to get the interior panel off and unscrewed/ unbolted the interior metal panel that everything is attached to. I'm having trouble disconnecting the handle and lock arms.
