Has anyone seen this thing?

It looks pretty luxurious. Definately not an offroad vehicle. Some T.V. s, leather seats, and i heard it has gps. Really nice. How does everyone else feel about it?

RE: Has anyone seen this thing?

i have seen a bunch of them in person...it is basically an F150 of the sam year, with a different tailgate, and a WHOLE LOT of interior and exterior trim options. i mean, just imagine the comfort and luxury of a town car, applied to an F150....and there you have the blackwood...[8D]

RE: Has anyone seen this thing?

In my opnion the C3 (now called Sierra Denali's) which is GM's luxury and PERFORMANCE truck is a much beter truck. Not only is the interior the best anyone can get but it is AWD and has a 325 (now 345) hp 6.0 liter.

The blackwood was a great truck, but was not marketed well.

The Blackwood is an F-150 of the same year with all the options and a combination of Navigator trim and unique pieces. The truck was poorly marketed, true, but its achilles heel was the bed. It came with a tonneau cover, split "barn door" style tailgate, and carpet. This made the Blackwood essentially a big sedan with a huge trunk. The key difference with the Denali is you could order a Denali and conceivably still use it as a truck, even haul a load of manure if you want to. With the Blackwood, unless you wanted to ruin it, you were limited to items you would put in the trunk of a car or in a carpeted van. It was a beautiful truck, and if you are a Ford guy, probably worth looking into if you can find a good example. The Platinum edition F150 is what the Blackwood should have been.
