Do you mean to turn the key on, but don't start the engine? And should the tbi unit spray or not?? NO smoke comes from the exhaust, but it does smell like it is overloading with fuel. I have checked vac lines, but haven't found one that is leaking anywhere. But there could be one that I have missed. And the whistling sound can only be heard when the breather cover is off.
