    dear GMcare, the truck was purchase at LACHAPELLE in gatineau Quebec and i went there about 20 times and they said its to bad nothing they can do ,is normal wear! (they got the money now and dont give a **** ) G.M.C. jennifer said take pictures and send them ,and after about 3 months of calls ,said they can not help ! and now the pictures are posted on the internet you are going to try to help me ? what a joke G.M.C. I think i got the rust package instead of the chrome package . the case # 11165183 and good luck bud!!

    Hello Jennifer,

    I'm still having this problem, and it's getting progressively worse. The issue is noticable under normal driving, especially when towing. The truck bucks excessively when shifting from 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. In addition, the truck ticks upon start up, and runs rough after sitting for over a 24 hour period. I've been having this issue for over a year now, and the dealers always say they cannot find anything.

    There are no warning or check engine lights illuminating, but I know for a fact there's an issue. I'm certainly not imaging this as I'm an automotive technician by trade.

    Anyway, from what I've been reading on other truck forums, that the issue could be with the throttle position sensor, carbon build up, lifters, O2 sensors, etc, etc.

    This issue has been going on since the truck was 2 years old, but thought it was the nature of the beast, but it's not and I'd like it fixed.

However, to determine if the vehicle issue you are experiencing is associated with the special coverage, your vehicle will have to be diagnosed by a GM certified dealership.     Hello. I have been having issues with my 08 GMC Sierra and I believe it has to do with the TPS issues that others have had on this forum. I have read that others have received a letter from GM to resolve the problem. How do I get a letter or how to I go about getting the issue resolved at my dealer? Thanks!

    I will get the info emailed to ya so that you can start a case..you have been so Great. I had a warranty issue with the truck several months ago where it would not start..they cover the tow in bill. With this situation it is a danger to drive...bout ran in a ditch when it shut down..do you think I could get towback covered in the warranty..scared to drive it far and dealer is like 40 miles. appreciate it.

    I posted the other day about getting a traction and stabilitrack shut off and engine powering down and truck dieing. wondering if any warranty is left on the 2009 GMC sierra with 71,000 miles.
    Also maybe there is a recall or fix that I did not receive info. on...seems to be happing quite often.
