02 Silverado rear window Adhesive?
 

02 Silverado rear cam latch. The problem seems to lie in the fact that no adhesives seem to work real well on plastics. And the auto glass people and dealership tell me i should purchase a new window. I have cleaned all of the old adhesive from the window and latch... they are like new again and ready to reattach. The problem is i need a relatively strong bond so the cam can draw the window tight against the window seal when closed to have it seal tight. It appears the window has some sort of a black film on the glass that i would be gluing against. Sorry for the ramble trying to get all of my thoughts out. Hopefully a product that is on the thicker side as it would be easier to try and glue while already in place.
