1941 chevy truck restomod
Hi everyone. I'm a new member (today), just posting a little about myself as suggested. Old retired guy, love resto-moding old trucks, half of my two car garage is my "shop". I've done a couple so far (1954 Fargo SB and 1950 International L110), and my present project is a 1941 Chevy truck. I'm using a 2000 Tahoe 4wd chassis, 4.8L Vortec, 4L60E trans/transfer case, Tahoe steering column and wiring harness, after-market gages and speedo. During this build I have deleted the BCM and ABS computors (Damaged and no room!), intergrated a hot-rod fuse block/wiring harness/relays with the Tahoe harness, but having problems wiring up stock cruise control = cannot find good diagrams for wiring thru the VSS buffer unit, my unit has many more wires than diagrams and color codes are wrong. I did find a diagram for cruise control 1999 Silverado that was correct, but not for the buffer or T-case selector switch wiring. So, I'm asking for help with these items:
- VSS buffer wiring diagrams - transfer case wiring thru buffer? - can I delete the buffer unit and wire direct to PCM without losing shift & T-case functions? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |
