What's up guys and gals? Picked up an 87 Silverado about a year ago. Very little rust if any. It had a bad vent window seal and water was getting in causing it to puddle up on the floor board. Guess the guy didn't know/care. No worries. I have been toying around with it a little lately and got the first sanding done with a little interior work to make it a mobile project. Good times and a nice ride ahead. Thanks for the forum!

Welcome man! I still love that body style. I had an 1984 Black Silverado short bed that was NEW that I had to sell in 1997 to buy my first house. I had ALOT of blood sweat and beers in that thing. The ****ty thing is the idiot I sold it to wrapped it around a telephone poll less than a month later. I still feel a tear comng on. Good luck and post some pics!

 

Welcome and 87 is still my favorite year for the trucks, just when they were getting good they switched em on me!
