So long story short, this truck was parked for about a year or so, it was used by the whole family till then but being a family truck means everyone had there chance to hack into it & "fix" it when stuff went wrong. Im gonna start with the starter, the original wire was melted & someone fixed it by adding several small wires.
A. Which is the best way to properly wire it back up?
B. The red&black wire from the junction box goes where? Was the original starter wire a purple wire?
The pictured wires that lead into the harness, why was only one hooked up & the dark greenish wire just left exposed hanging down there while the other was hooked up? This is how it was \"fixed" This is farther up the harness of what was hooked to starter. The greenish wire wasn't even hooked up. Just dangling down there exposed around the starter. This is where they lead to on the harness. Behind the distributor against the firewall
