Ok guys. So I have a 1997 k1500 p/u with the one piece 4l60e transmission and manual transfer case and I'm trying to swap it with a 1997 2 piece (removable bellhousing) 4l60e out of a 4.3 s10 with electronic transfer case. Tried swapping it in after changing out the tail shafts, but came up an about inch short with a couple of bottom screws on the bellhousing left empty. Is it not possible to interchange these two 4l60e trannys or do I just need some sort of spacer? I would appreciate the help.
