Brand new and dont know what truck to buy??

hey guys brand new to this site and was wonderin if i could get some feedback on what truck and model i should buy???

I am really considering the chevy colorado or gmc canyon z71 model crew cab but what does the z71 have that the regular 4x4 crew cab doesnt??

Any feedback would be appreciated

Z71 has skid plates, upgraded suspension, and a differential lock if I remember right.

To tell you the truth, If I were going to buy a canyon or Colorado, I would end up just buying a full size truck. The fuel economy is the same, and a Crew Cab Colorado is about the same as an extended cab silverado, no room.

Yes I agree, that two trucks can accommodate same number of passengers, which happened that the inside is not so roomy.

I agree with going full size. Your spending about the same money and you will thank yourself later.

Choosing a truck to buy depends on the purpose...
Are you gonna use this as a DD or as an off-road vehicle?

i will be using the truck as a daily driver and for minor work usage nothing heavy at all but i was talking to a guy at work and he is saying that the colorado is no good and to go for a full size diesel truck and i will be much happier

i dont really think that i want to go for a 2500 or f 250 so what in your opinion is the most fuel efficient full size pick up that i can buy???

model and engine please

Most fuel efficient "gas" truck on the market right now is a 2009 Silverado hybrid. If you want a diesel, you might want to wait a couple months for the 2010 silverado 1500 with a 4.5liter diesel engine.
