To choose a truck!
 

What truck would be the better choice? (not based on preference but on reliability and value)

I am choosing whether to buy a either

- 1992 Ford F-150 flare-side, 302 v8 ext cab, short box or

- 1997 Dodge power Ram 2500 slt Laramie, ext cab, long box with the 5.9 360

As a first truck, and being a big guy (6'6 300lbs) which would suit me better?

First off, im not really doing any long driving maybe once in a while, but not often. no this will not be used to haul or tow anything. I do plan on raising it a few inches, but not much. Im hoping for some 32-36'' tires eventually.
