Hey Guys, The kind people on this forum have made it clear to me a f350 is overkill for my needs.

I've read some reviews, watched some reviews on youtube, still no closer
to a decision.

It has come down to two trucks - any help, experience, opinion are welcomed.

Ram 1500
quad cab
4X4
6' 4" Box
5.7L V8 Hemi DMS VVT 8-Speed AUTO


or


F-150
SuperCrew
4X4
6'6" Box
6.2L 2V EFI V8 Engine 6-speed AUTO


Basically I want to know do I want a more powerful engine with less speeds
or do I want a less powerful engine with more speeds.

I tried using gm.ca's "build" application, and I couldn't "build" truck with the 6'6" bed with the crew cab.

Did I do something wrong?

I have seen many GMC Trucks with the quad cab, and extended cab with a 6'6" bed. Mine is a inch shy of being 7'.

 

Not as cool looking as the RAM

I like the idea of the air suspension on the RAM as well.

 

The new Rams have stock air suspension?

For MY2013 I do believe the Ram 1500 has air suspension front and rear.
