I have a 1993 GMC 3500 but the truck isn’t HD and the cargo weight rating is crap. I am looking to build a pretty heavy truck camper on the back. Can I make any suspension upgrades or anything to basically convert my truck to HD. I was also looking at potentially just swapping the whole SRW axle for a dually axle. Has anyone done anything like this? I am basically trying to increase my cargo weight rating as much as possible and want to know all my options.

P.S. I don’t wanna get a new truck cause my C3500 is my baby
