Hello, new guy here. I’ll start with the truck I used to own. I owned a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd classic, it was a diesel. Last fall we were on vacation in Tn. Traveling west on I40. We were also pulling a 38’ fifth wheel. We had to slow way down for a construction zone and the semi behind us didn’t get the memo. He totaled my trailer and truck, very sad day. So, now I’m starting to shop for a new truck, it will be a Silverado or Sierra. I’m not sure if I want another diesel or a gasser, probably not going to tow again, but I loved my diesel! Things have really changed since 2007 so I am looking for any and all info good and no so good. Looking for body styles, engine options, comfort and real life fuel economy. Also not against buying used, would consider a 2016, 17. I’m just starting my search, so looking forward to hearing from you all.
