Hello, a little bit about me.. well i'm 25 i have bachelor degrees in History and Philosophy from Auburn University. I am currently a bartender and my forum name is my signature drink. I still live in Auburn. As a hobby i autocross miatas. well i guess ya'll would like to hear the interesting stuff. I have a 96 s-10 that i have bought 4 times and sold 3 times.. It was my first vehicle and it just seems that it keeps coming back to me.. The truck has had a few engines in it's time.. it came with a 262 i swapped a 350 in it the 2nd time i owned it, the 2nd time i sold it the guy took the 350 out and put a turbocharged 3.8l in it. Well the 3.8 was built very poorly and is about to give up on me so i'm doing something different. I bought a 4.8l gen3/4 truck motor to go in it along with transmission, electrical, and ecm. i have the motor completely taken apart and i'm i the process of cleaning it up and checking everything.. i've polished (nearly a mirror finish) the heads, throttle body and spacer, and the rods. i'm not looking to make this truck racing thats why i did the cheap free way to free up some ponies. This truck will be a daily driver, towing truck for miata, jet skis, and bike, so it won't be doing too much work. well any questions about my project i'll have some pictures up as soon as possible!
