Hello! New member with an old Ford wrecker
Hello all,
Last year, my wife and I acquired an old 1985 Ford F350 wrecker to move our many older cars around. This truck has seen better days and wondered if this forum might be a good source for both body parts for the truck a swell as perhaps parts for the wrecker itself.
This old wrecker has a WreckMaster wrecker body and mechanical hoist.
We also have added on at the back, a hydraulic wheel lift.
It has a power takeoff for the main lift and the frame is strengthened.
At the moment it needs some bodywork and a paint job.
The hydraulics also need work. We are searching for a new pump
The interior is plain stock and we'd like to upgrade it with a more comfortable seating maybe replacing the bench seat with a couple of buckets. This is a regular cab so not much can be done with the limited space.
