Help purchasing a new truck!
 

hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to view my post.

I am looking to purchase a truck for around $5000. I then would be doing various upgrades to it, putting the biggest tires i can get on there, sound system etc. I guess I will know more on the upgrades once I purchase a truck and the specific make and model are known.

Are there any good trucks in my price range from a particular year I should go after? I also hope to learn a lot more about vehicles on this truck as I want to do all my own work on it etc.

I am looking for a Ext Cab, 4x4 at least half ton.

I appreciate any advice i can get. :)

I like the Ford F150's from 95-99 I would start there.

Ford is going to be your cheapest bet..Then rams then gm ful sizes
