I just rear-ended this guy...
 

Okay well I was on my way to school to take a test and i was kinda studying and driving at the same time. I hit this guy in a red truck (don't remember make or model) there was no cosmetic damage whatsoever to his bumper (slight scrape on my front) and all it did was move the bumper down a little bit (just enough so it was noticeable) Actually, I didn't notice but he did, I guess because it was his car. I was just wondering if this kind of problem is an expensive or inexpensive fix because I will be paying for it so as not to involve insurance (i'm under 25 so it'll shoot through the roof). An approximation would be appreciated.

I was rear ended last year by a 2005 civic, and I was driving a '94 f150. There was a slight scrape on his front grill but he ran under my bumper so it bent the supports down and it had to be replaced, I knew him so we didn't involve the police or anything but he paid for my new supports for the bumper and it was $145, that was for a '94 ford so I would say if he needs something new try to talk between the both of you and settle it because it could be expensive but its better then you paying your insurance.
