Looking at adding a lift kit

I own a 1980 Chevy Scottsdale and am looking to put in a lift kit. One question I have if anyone can answer, is that if I put 5 1/2 inch blocks on the rear, what size springs would I need for the front to balance it out?

Sorry RTuran
I lost track of your thread.

Sorry bud I can't help ya.. but I would have to suggest on getting a KIT.
Because after you figure out the front spring height your next brick wall is finding out the shock mounts and replacement shock height. Some kits will also supply the tapered axle shims that will help in the pinion angle.
