MOTORVATOR TBS
I just bought my truck doing a little at a time ,but i ran into a prob. i tried putting a motor vator TBS & the copmuter started throwing all kinds of codes truck woudn't run 1 of the codes was loss of power any one encounter this before only thing i can come up is that this NBS 07vmax motor could possibly have a bigger throttle body on it & the spacer i tried was for different 6.0 throttle body.Any info. appreciated.

RE: MOTORVATOR TBS
That's odd. Did you take it off and put it back together to see if it quit? Don't know why it would have done that unless you didn't mount it up right and had an air intake leak which would have made the ECU fuss, kick, and scream.

RE: MOTORVATOR TBS
Yes i confirmed no vaccum leak hope it's not just that my trucks comp.is not going to allow me to install one.

I'm a few years away, but I didn't have any computer issues. Is the TBS the same bore size as your TB? You may havean overlap somewhere causing a vortex and screwing up the airflow in the manifold. Good Luck.

RE: MOTORVATOR TBS
did you plug everything back in? i put mine in and i forgot to plug some of the wires back into the throttle body... truck wouldn't start...

RE: MOTORVATOR TBS
Thanks for the info. i guess it is possible to have had some overlap but i tried it several times & it did the same thing evrrytime my next step will be to mic the spacer & throttle body.I've had TBS's on all my other trucks w/out any trouble.
