New here from WA State
I have always been a Chevy owner still do 71 3/4 ton 4x4 but ended up with a F-350 due to extenuating circumstances.
Would have been nice if it was at least a manual like the rest of my trucks but I do like it. But my biggest issue with the truck is it was owned by a smoker anyone got some idea of how to get the smell out??? |
welcome from Lynnwood. I had the same problem but with a very strong dog smell, almost worse than a smoker but, i took my upholstery shampooer with some pet stain and odor remover to the whole inside and it worked like a charm. You might want to take it to a detailer.

That has been tried and failed plus this truck had smoke dogs and goats in it.
But I am making some headway so far. |

Glad you joined If you haven't got your smell issue resolved by next summer... if it were me, I would unbolt the seat or seats and seat belts and pull the carpet. Hang the carpet up over a fence and take a pressure washer to it and a detergent. Let it drip dry in the sun for a few days. Buy a can of deionizing spray or something specific to eliminating pet or cigarette odor and spay the rest of the fabric. |
Welcome FireBlade. Hope you got that nasty smoke out!
