Hello, I just joined up. I am on my third Chevy Work Truck package. I have previously owned an 80 full size standard cab/8' box with the 250 straight 6, a 93 full size/standard cab/8' box with the 4.3 liter six, and currently own a 2000 extended cab/6 1/2 foot box with the 4.3 liter six. I just use my truck for transportation and some light trailering of my real passion which is early 80's Suzuki motorcycles. I do most of my own maintenance and have been very happy with the Chevys and keep them as long as possible. My 2000 has approx 180 K of relatively trouble free miles and with two kids currently in college my goal is to make it last a couple more years until my graduation present of a hopefully another new truck for myself.
