I have always been a car guy and I have finally dove in and bought a couple trucks and I think I am hooked!!!

Welcome aboard!
I think you found a more expensive hobby. A 4wd truck has twice the transmissions, twice the differentials, twice the driveshafts or more and you wear it out much faster than a car.
