Post Parking Mode — How Do You Power Your Dash Cam?

Hi everyone!

We’ve been exploring different ways to power dash cams for parking mode on trucks and wanted to hear how other owners handle it.

📌 Power options we’ve seen:
  • Hardwire to the fuse box
  • OBD2 adapter
  • 12V socket (switched)
💡 Questions for the community:
  • Which method works best for your truck?
  • Any battery drain issues?
  • Tips for larger trucks or crew cabs?
We’d love to see photos of your setup too — sharing experiences helps everyone improve their dash cam installation.

Thanks for your input!
