2014 gmc sierra automatic transmission connector
 

Please can someone help me with the numbers of wires on transmission connector pigtail of this model as mine has 10 wires whereas the transmission has 16 pins on it. Tried online and all shows 16 wire pigtail connector. My vehicle was bought at auction so i cannot say whether the previous owner changed it. I am using gmc for the 1st time please help.
it's a 2014 gmc sierra crew cabin rear wheel drive with 6 speed 6L80E automatic ransmission.
