87 gmc front suspension
hello. i have an 87 gmc 4x4. currently it has a 6" lift. skyjacker front springs and rear blocks. dual front superlift shocks and single rear superlift shock. the problem is that this truck does not ride well at all. i have thought about deaver front springs but at $800 a pair this is to much. i dont know anyone with them to justify spending this. i have read about people using 60" rear springs upfront and moving the shackle back. i am not sure if this would be a good idea for a daily driver or if it would be to "slinky". i also own a 05 dodge ram 2500. this truck has coil sprung front suspension. i want my gmc to ride like my dodge, or better. i am not sure if this is possible, but any suggestions will be great. thanks.
