Id say the 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 Z71 V8 Ext. cab. As far as fuel consumption goes I'd look for a flexfuel model to save some money in the long haul.

You can't go wrong with a Chevy Silverado. I've gotten 25.7 on the highway with a 6.0! If you can afford it and find it, I hear the new silverado hybrid gets 21mpg in city not sure what it does on the open road and I haven't been a fan of hybrids but some people like em. I just like hearing my truck run is all.

Smile Best Full Size Truck??

I would also agree that you can rely completely on Chevy Silverado. Speaking from personal experience buddy!

Depends how often and what you haul. Either way Silverado Silverado Silverado! If fuel mileage isn't an issue I would drive a 2500HD with an 8.1 Liter. I had an extra cab that I used to drive with that package and I tell you what...you would have to spend ALOT of money on a regular small block truck to get it to run like that! If it wasn't for the 8-10 MPG I would still be driving it!!!! I now drive a 2500HD with the 6.0 and I absolutely love it. It pulls my 16 foot enclosed trailer great and the gas mileage isn't much worse than a 5.3. If you rarely or never tow the 5.3 is very hard to beat my wife has one in her Yukon and that is the most comfortable truck we have ever owned.

Yeah, GM is getting a bad rap right now because of their financial situation, but thats all in their management. They still build GREAT vehicles and in my opinion this is the best line of vehicles they have ever had

what about the fuel emission regulators they put in the trucks in 07. i think that going with a 2003-2006 gm truck would be better than the new ones.
