Hi! I am a teen who is about driving age and I am wondering what a good first car would be for offroading. It needs to be reliable and safe enough so my parents are on board but also have respectable off-road capabilities. I want a truck but am open to the idea of cars/SUVs as long as they are off-road capable. Price is another important factor of course as I don't have the most funds in the world. I have narrowed it down to Subaru crosstrek, Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, or a Nissan Frontier. My preference would be a Tacoma or 4runner but they are pricy. Any ideas/New suggestions? Any guidance is appreciated!
