Week ago I visited funeral ceremony of one person during my trip to Singapore which was organized by one of the best funeral agencies in this country. It was creamtion traditional ceremony. I heard that its simple thing for Singapore. Plus If family members are far away when death occurs, cremation makes the disposal of the body quick so the memorial services can be postponed until those who are traveling can reasonably attend. Not paying for prolonged preservation will save you quite a bit

Once the Certificate of Cause of Death has been obtained, you may engage a funeral director who will:
  • collect the body from the home or hospital mortuary;
  • send the body for embalming if required; and
  • deliver the body to the location of the wake.

You know what they say... if you don't to other people's funerals, they won't come to yours.
