Wow !!! That's crazy !!! Natural gas and propane scares me.
I don't like fuels under pressure. It just ads to their volatility

They have been using propane in the US for decades and I don't recall ever hearing of an accident like that here. Many of your big RVs have large propane tanks under them, ours looked to be about 50 gallons.
