Question Quick Question about 98 GMC

Hey everyone, I am looking to get a metal tool box for my boyfriend's 1998 GMC Sierra 1500. And was wondering what the dimensions would be and if anyone would have any clue to some good boxes (not too expensive, could be used, just in good condition). Would appreciate any help that I could get.
Thanks!!!!!

Almost any tool or storage box will fit his full size truck. BRUTE, JOB BOX, DEE ZEE, DELTA. You will just need to know what style of box he will like.

For a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500, you’ll want to look for a tool box that fits the bed size. Most 6.5-foot truck beds will fit a 48 to 60-inch box, but it depends on the exact size of the bed.

Here are a few options:

Check local stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, or Walmart for affordable new or used boxes.
Look online for used tool boxes on websites like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace.
Consider brands like Dee Zee, TruXedo, or UWS, which are known for good, affordable boxes.
Make sure to measure the inside of the bed before buying to ensure the box fits well.
