tool Kit
I was thinking about getting a tool kit to keep in my vehicle if something happens to me or to someone else. I was thinking a 260 or 309 would be best. You know proper tool for the proper job but I was just curious what everyone else carries in their vehicle?

I have something similar to this 86 PIECE GENERAL TOOL KIT : Target
Mine has a boat load more sockets for 1/4 and 3/8 ratchets though. It's more of a mechanic's tool kit than a "general service" kit. Typically though, if I have a bad enough problem encountered on the road that I need LOTS of tools to fix, I'll either tow it, or have to go get parts anyways. Plus I really don't want to feel obligated to help fix other people's cars lol |
Good idea for a thread. I have one of those diamond plate tool boxes in the back of my truck. All it has in it is my 12vdc compressor for possible flat tires and my train horns. It also stores my tow rope.
I should have an all purpass tool kit in there. I'll be following this thread |
Well I have a 120 Piece I keep at work and it works but the quailty of the tools is poor so I wanna up grade have good tools to keep in my vehicle. I keep a 2 1/4 ton floor jack I got off a guy up at work for $25.
I saw this and if I had the make and model of this guy it work but maybe it will give you guys some ideas |
well I have a 12 air compressor for a flat. I have a 2 1/4 ton floor jack for changing tires a 4 way 2 dog bone wrenches. tow rope, PB blaster, lithium white grease, ball wrench. straps ( came up on a guy who's gas tank actually was siting on the ground). Now If I had money I would either have a farm bumper jack or Powerbuilt® 3 Ton Jack & Jack Stand - Tractor Supply Online Store
