To start off I am new to the truck world. My reason for posting this is that I need some advice. I have been talking to a guy in my area about buying his 77 short bed federal truck that he is selling for $2500. It has a 4 inch lift with 35's on it. needs to be painted and also needs some minor tlc. Is this a good buy in all of your minds?? and also he keeps referring to it as a federal truck...what does this mean? its stripped down to the primer as well..My main use for this truck will be drivin around town and off roading.

What is condition of that model?
