88 GMC Sierra 1500 BRAIN TEASER

I charged ac with r-134, ac kicked on started blowing cold air, and tranny started whining, and slipping, turn off ac , whining and slipping stops, any ideas would help, I know it sounds crazy, I've checked several times results are same, I can't figure how ac interfering with transmission,
