Help finding a used pick-up

Hello, I'm in the market for a bare-bones pick-up. V6, RWD, single or extended cab. I was hoping ya'll on this forum could give me advice on what generations of what makes and models to look for? Any advice on the subject would help whether it's positive or negative about any makes or models.
