Truck Forums - i have recieved an email may or may not be scam

i recieved an email today or yesterday form some one claiming to have signed up for this forum wanting me to contact a moderator
i only read the message i did not respond as i dont know if it is legit or how they got my personal email as i dont have think i have it posted anywhere and even so the email said they couldnt log in so they wouldnt be able to acces my profile on here
below i have copy and pasted the email address and what the contents are

Can you forward this to an administrator?
What good is joining if I cannot introduce myself, can't ask questions and cannot share????
