Internet language. Colloquial Abbreviations and Their Meanings
 

If you're like me, you had to learn what different abbreviations mean on the internet. For instance if you see "LOL" it means Laugh Out Loud. So here is the list:

LOL- Laugh out loud
FU- F*** you (by no means to be used here on the TF)
ROTFL- Rolling on the floor laughing
LMAO- Laugh my arse off
WTF?- What the F***?
OMG-Oh my god
ROTFLMGDAO- Over exaggerated combination of ROTFL and LMAO with another adjective thrown in
FTW!- For the win!
FTR,- For the record,
teh-'the' spelled wrong
o/w- over with
brb- be right back
ttyl- talk to you later
IMO- in my opinion
PM- Private Message
IM- Instant message
U-you, but never use it unless you want to make yourself look stupid
k- OK, same deal as u
t/y- thank you
fyi-For your information
j/k- just kidding with you
thx- thanks
n/p-No Problem

b/c-because
SNAFU- Situation Normal: All Fouled Up
