1998 3/4 ton oil pan gasket
 

I am getting ready to put a new gasket on my oil pan. The gasket is cork material. Does this need any sealant on the pan/gasket. My friendly auto store guys said that cork did not need any sealant on it. But they did not sound overly confident about it. Thanks.
