squeak and rattle
 

I bought a 2011 Sierra single cabin WTwith 5.3L motor 2 months ago. This is my first truck. The truck runs fine and returns gas mileage like a mid-size SUV. The 5.3 L motor is smooth and awesome. However, I'm surpprised with lots of squeak and rattle noise coming from the IP and front suspension area. From the suspension, it seems the coil springs make noise as they are compressed and released. Noise almost always comes from behind the IP. I'm going to mention the noise issues to the dealership at the first oil change. I'm wondering if this is a norm with a truck, and I shouldn't make a big deal out of it. I appreciate your thoughts and experiences with noise issues.
