Need help quock - Hood assembly on '99 Tacoma
 

Went to open my hood this morning on my '99 Tacoma and the release handle under the dash just pulled out with no tension. The cable is still attached and I can feel it farther down the line, but it's not releasing the hood at all. Is there a quick way I can get my hood open to do a little maintenance that needs to be done today? Thanks.

try to get omn the cable with vise grips is about all ya can do
