Ok this might be kinda long so bear with me! I have a 94 toyota pickup with the 22re. I just put a new engine in it. The engine has about 600 mile on it. I have been having some pinging problems. So I took it to the local toyota dealer cuz I had a check engine light on. They told me that the EGR wasent workin. They tested the egr it self and it was good. So they did further testing and they told me that I have a problem with the collector for the egr. So I pulled the collector and the header off to find that part of my header gasket was blocking folw to the collector! So I cut the gasket to make the folw. Put its still pinging. Any advice for me. Please help this truck is kinda being a pain in the ***. Thanks for your time. Later, Josh
