Default Gas vs Towing

What would be the best options to have to get good fuel economy and good Towing capability. Such as what gears to have Man vs Auto, v6 tow package or not off road package with hitch?? what Should I look for??

In my opinion you must look for manual, as it can give you more grip and power.

Definitely opt for the manual transmission over automatic. One of the main reasons a manual gains better fuel economy is because of the clutch vs. the torque converter. Torque converters have tended to use up more power, hence better fuel numbers with a manual clutch.
