Default avalanche, shut in off while driving

we was driving my 2003 avalanche z71, on the highway, got caught up in traffic for about an hour or so, when the vehicle shut off! it was a pretty warm day had ac on! and then we put it in park turn key off, then it would start up! drive for about a couple of mins, then die again! i shut off ac, got outa traffic, then it seemed to drive fine, for about a week and a half! same thing it was pretty warm!(95) was slowing to go around a corner about 20mph, and it died! pulled over put it in park, turned key off then it would start right up! went for about a min, then died again! same thing! this time i noticed to get it started i have to turn key all the way off to get it to start! if i dont (turn key to off) it will just click! the temp guage didnt read anything outa ordinary!(bout 210 i think) oil pressure the same, and i think voltage the same! maybe you guys have some ideas, to point me in the right direction!? thanks james

Have you tried cleaning the MAS? Have you already changed the fuel filter, but maybe the sock filter is collapsed or clogged making it starve for fuel. That is what my mother's Astro Van did even after we changed the fuel filter.
