1 Ton
well my 1 Ton decided it's pulling days are over, frame rusted out in one spot and gave way when i hit the breaks pulling my trailer,
So my question is what year of truck would you guys recommend for a 1 Ton dually that I use to pull a 36FT 3x7000 pound axles, that goes 800km once or twice a week
any pros or cons of what each year would be appreciated as well
Thanks in advance

Starting in 2011 the 3500HD got a new box frame that is considerably stronger than the ones used in prior years. GM states that the new frame is 5x stiffer and less flexing means more power to the rear wheels and less metal fatigue.
GM also beefed up the engine, Allison trans, and having the exhaust brake is a big plus. Read about the Hurt Locker testing done my mrtrailer.com. Very useful information as they did a very complete testing over a distance of 2,000 miles with one ton trucks from Ford, Dodge, and GM pulling a 19,000 lb. trailer load.
GM also did a lot of design changes in late 2007 (non-Classic 2007 versions and all later year trucks). In general with the fierce competition between the three truck makers will upgrade their truck models and provide more significant improvements under the sheet metal than is true with passenger vehicles.
